What AsyncMe stores

AsyncMe stores daemon connection settings locally on your iPhone so the app can reconnect to the daemon you choose.

Those settings can include the daemon URL and authentication token required to talk to your own AsyncMe daemon.

Where process data lives

Process data remains on your own daemon and machine. AsyncMe does not run a cloud service that copies your process output, prompts, or terminal history.

The iPhone app acts as a remote client for the daemon you control.

Push notifications

To deliver push notifications, AsyncMe uses an APNs device token that Apple provides for your device.

That token is used only to route notifications related to your own AsyncMe daemon activity.

Tracking and analytics

We do not use third-party analytics or tracking in the current release.

AsyncMe does not sell your personal information.

Newsletter (launch list)

If you opt in via the AsyncMe launch list form on this site, we collect your email address solely to notify you when the iOS app becomes publicly available and on major future releases. Estimated cadence is 2 to 4 emails per year.

Emails are stored and processed by Loops (loops.so), a third-party email service acting as our processor. We do not sell, share, or use your address for any purpose other than these announcements.

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reach us at [email protected] to be removed manually.

Retention and contact

Operational data retention is primarily controlled by your own daemon and machine because that is where AsyncMe stores process information.
